Embroidery Workshop | Tuesday, September 8th, 6 - 8 PM at T.F. Brewing

$60.00

Join me for an evening of creativity, good company, great drinks, and embroidery in the Barrel Room at T.F. Brewing.

Address: 936 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84101
This event is 21+ only with a valid ID required to enter.

About the Workshop

This beginner-friendly workshop is all about learning a new skill while creating something that's completely your own. Instead of everyone stitching the same design, you'll choose from a collection of autumnal stamps, where you’ll be able to use a handful of stitches to make a patchwork piece, perfect to celebrate the changing season!

Think pumpkins, pies, cozy cups of cider, scarves, leaves, and nods to my second favorite season in Utah. Mix, match, and make something that's as bold, subtle, or whimsical as you'd like. Not sure what to do? I’ll be there to give tips about composition for your hoop and will have examples available!

Whether you've never picked up an embroidery needle before, you're looking for a creative night out with friends, or you're already a stitcher wanting to try something new, this workshop is for you.

Now what do you say? Are you an autumn?

What You'll Learn

Together we'll cover:

  • Setting up an embroidery hoop

  • Working with stick-and-stitch patterns

  • Beginner embroidery stitches

  • Tips for adding texture and dimension

  • Finishing your piece at home

My goal is to give you the confidence to continue stitching long after the workshop ends.

Your Ticket Includes

  • One draft beer or non-alcoholic beverage

  • Embroidery hoop

  • Fabric, Needles, and DMC embroidery thread

  • A collection of water-soluble stick-and-stitch designs

  • Printed stitch guide and instructions

You'll leave with everything you need to finish your project at home, packed up in a little organza bag.

Additional Information & Policies

  • No experience required. Seriously, none! This workshop is designed for beginners, and I'll guide you every step of the way.

  • If you typically use reading glasses for close-up work, please bring them.

  • Feel free to arrive a few minutes early to grab your drink and get settled before we begin.

  • All ticket sales are final. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out. I always do my best to be accommodating whenever possible.

I can't wait to stitch with you!
